Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker – PS4 Review
A brief introduction gave me the chance to create my own avatar, specifying things as diverse as temperament and eye colour. Its all light and breezy and fairly fun to do. A short while later and Hank Tank was born, a geeky singleton looking for ladies with a firey temperament.
turned it into an over-the-top mobile game which sees players aiding the totally fabulous Kitty Powers in running a successful dating agency.
It has been a long time since I have been in the dating game; married for nearly fourteen years it is hard to remember just how utterly cringe making dates can be, particularly first dates. You are tasked with running a dating agency by the titular Kitty Powers, the wonderful drag persona of the lead developer, Richard Franke.
Each client and potential date is randomly generated and has a minimal amount of information attached to them: sexual preference, star sign, occupation, three likes and their preferred physical characteristics in a potential mate which are limited to only eye and hair colour. Furthermore, each character is assigned a broad archetype: Geeky, Sporty, Hipster, Edgy etc.
Obviously your chances of success are greater if you match people with similar characteristics, but the game does allow for you to make some chalk and cheese prospects providing you are successful with the various mini-games each date presents you with. Every date takes the same format.

Likewise, at one point after eating you have to hold in some gas, but you do so by playing a card game where you have to guess whether the next card would be higher or lower.
